In the Clerks office Russell County, May 10th, 1834

Hugh Tiffany and Son Plaintiff
vs.
Enoch Harper and Asa Harper, Defendants (in debt)

The Defendant Enoch Harper being arrested and in custody of the sheriff on the surrender of his boy by his special bail, acknowledges the plaintiffs action for the debt and interest in the declaration mentioned and costs. Therefore it is commanded that the plaintiff recover against the defendant $340 the debt aforesaid with interest thereon to be compiled after the ??? per ?? from the 18th day of October 1817 till payment and their ?? by them said i that behalf ???
