Mr. Shade M. Creed, 70, of
Frederick, Md. died Thursday in a Frederick hospital.
Born May, 22, 1907, in Bandy Va, he was a son of the late
Robert Lee and Sarah Witt Creed.
Mr. Creed had lived in
Frederick 18 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs.
Selma Creed; three sons, Howard of Hinton, Allan of Lake
Mills, Wis., and Dennis Creed of Frederick; four daughters,
Mrs. Nancy Johnson of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Peggy Knight of
Houston, TX, Miss Judith Creed of Frederick and Mrs. Deborah
Frazier of Pittsburgh, Kan. One sister, Mrs. Mila Pruitt, of
Bandy, VA.; one brother, Newt Creed of Raysall; 17
grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. The body is at
the Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors in Hinton.
